Expert care is just a click away.

Washington University Physicians is proud to offer the convenience of virtual visits (also known as telemedicine or telehealth). Patients can visit with a doctor without leaving home using video chat through their phone, tablet or computer.

You will need:

  • An appointment
For specialist appointments (OBGYN, dermatology, urology, cardiology, etc.): Call the office of the physician you would like to see to schedule (Find a Doctor). If you are an existing patient, you can also request a visit through MyChart .
For general same-day concerns (when your primary care provider is not available): Call WashU Express Care.
  • A MyChart account
If you do not have one, your provider’s office will help you register.
  • A smartphone, tablet or computer with internet connection
If you are unable to use one of these devices for a video visit, you and your provider may decide that a phone visit would work better.
