He is among a select group of neurosurgeons nationwide who perform expanded endoscopic endonasal and minimally invasive transorbital surgeries that push the boundaries of minimally invasive skull base surgery and expand safe treatment options for patients. Dr. Patel is also a recipient of the prestigious American Association of Neurological Surgeons Van Wagenen Fellowship – a reflection of his commitment to advancing the field of neurosurgery through innovation.
Dr. Patel is the surgical director of WashU Medicine’s Pituitary Center and a member of the integrated skull base program, partnering closely with rhinologists, otologists, endocrinologists and radiation oncologists to streamline multidisciplinary evaluation and accelerate access to cutting-edge therapies.
