Determining the mechanisms by which deep brain stimulation for movement disorders improves the motor manifestations of PD, ET and dystonia; determining how deep brain stimulation parameters can be adjusted to improve the motor manifestation of PD; the development of objective measurement tools for movement disorders; evaluation of dementia in movement disorders.
