When patients are diagnosed with a lung nodule or enlarged lymph nodes of the chest, often they are worried about the prospect of cancer. In reality, many nodules are non-cancerous. As an interventional pulmonologist, Dr. Thinnes’s goal is to understand the person sitting across from him and help them come up with the best care plan that fits their individual needs. If a biopsy or other procedure is needed, we are able to provide that in a safe and minimally invasive way.
