Kumar Vasudevan, MD

Dr. Vasudevan is a WashU Medicine surgeon who is board-certified in neurological surgery and fellowship-trained in skull base neurosurgery and neurocritical care. He specializes in both brain and spinal conditions including brain tumors (gliomas, meningiomas, skull base tumors, and others), Chiari malformation, degenerative disc and spinal disease, disc herniations, hydrocephalus, trigeminal neuralgia/hemifacial spasm, stereotactic radiosurgery/Gamma Knife, and more.

He is dedicated to delivering compassionate, world-class treatment for patients with brain and spine conditions. Dr. Vasudevan utilizes minimally invasive surgery and nonsurgical techniques whenever possible. His research focuses on survival and functional outcomes in atypical and malignant meningioma, outcomes in pituitary tumor surgery, and innovations in perioperative neurosurgical care.
