Washington University Physicians is proud to offer the convenience of virtual visits (also known as telemedicine or telehealth). Patients can visit with a doctor without leaving home using video chat through their phone, tablet or computer.
You will need:
- An appointment
For specialist appointments (OBGYN, dermatology, urology, cardiology, etc.): Call the office of the physician you would like to see to schedule (Find a Doctor). If you are an existing patient, you can also request a visit through MyChart. - A MyChart account
If you do not have one, your provider’s office will help you register. - A smartphone, tablet or computer with internet connection
If you are unable to use one of these devices for a video visit, you and your provider may decide that a phone visit would work better.
