Julie Bryant, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 21 years of nursing experience, and 17 years dedicated specifically to mental health care. Julie earned her masters of science in nursing from Walden University, and has since been committed to providing compassionate, evidenced- based psychiatric care to individuals across the lifespan. Julie works with children and adults ages seven to 60, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, insomnia, schizophrenia, ADHD, grief and PTSD.  Her approach centers on creating a supportive, collaborative environment where the patient feels heard, respected and empowered in their care. She advocates for each individual patient to help personalize a treatment plan that aligns with their mental health needs.

Health disparities affecting people with disabilities, with a focus on improving access to mental health and substance use care, analyzing disability demographic data to better understand disparities in substance use outcomes, designing and evaluating educational interventions to improve clinician competence in disability-inclusive care, using mixed methods to center the perspectives of disabled individuals
