The Department of Pathology and Immunology has four divisions: anatomic and molecular pathology, immunobiology, laboratory and genomic medicine and neuropathology.
Washington University Pathology Services (WUPath) is the clinical service for pathologic diagnosis, delivering personalized medicine through subspecialty expertise and ancillary testing. This service includes first and second opinions on pathology consultation, molecular testing, cytogenetics, chromosomal microarray analysis (CMA), fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), next-generation sequencing, histology and immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy.
