The Washington University Complex Care Clinic provides a medical home for children with complex health conditions from birth to adolescence. Our goal is to help families coordinate both acute and chronic care with Washington University subspecialty providers, therapists and home care services.
We are available to our patients five days a week for well-child care, advanced assessment and management. We also provide pediatric primary care to siblings of our patients.
We welcome referrals for patients up to 14 years of age who do not currently have a primary care provider (PCP) to coordinate and manage their complex medical needs. Typically, these patients will have one or more of the following:
- Technology dependence (G-tube, tracheostomy, ventilator) or wheelchair dependence
- Two or more chronic conditions under treatment
- Ongoing management by four or more Washington University subspecialists
