Washington University pediatric endocrinologists provide inpatient (at St. Louis Children’s Hospital) and outpatient specialty care services for patients with endocrine and growth disorders, diabetes and bone and mineral metabolic disorders.

Some of the conditions we treat include:

  • Diabetes mellitus
  • Differences of Sexual Development
  • Disorders of growth
  • Pubertal development (delayed or early)
  • Thyroid disorders
  • Transgender health needs
  • Adrenal disorders (including adrenal insufficiency, Cushing syndrome, and congenital adrenal hyperplasia)
  • Hypopituitarism
  • Turner Syndrome
  • Disorders of bone and mineral metabolism
  • Hypoglycemia due to hormonal or metabolic abnormalities
